COPPER REPIPING IS THE SOLUTION
The durability of copper piping exceeds 100 years. Besides being lead-free, they are also biostatic - copper prevents bacteria from growing! For homeowners who want long-term plumbing solutions with brand-new pipes, copper piping is an excellent choice.
With copper repiping, your family will enjoy clean, fast-flowing water and be able to use all faucets and fixtures at once.
Your home's value will also be increased when you repipe with copper, as it will be attractive to potential buyers in the future.
Copper pipe piping is not a temporary plumbing fix, where you remove a few sections of pipe and the problem returns a few years later somewhere else. Copper repiping involves replacing all of your home's supply plumbing. The Copper Repiping specialists at AAA Plumbing serve Beecher, Chicago, Joliet, Lockport, Plainfield, and all other cities in Cook, Will, Dupage, and Kane counties.
Copper repiping is also a good idea if you are planning a remodeling project for your home.

THE PROBLEMS WITH OLD PIPES
In most homes, galvanized pipes were the standard material for decades. These iron pipes, however, can develop a number of problems over time due to corrosion of the zinc layer inside. In addition to low water pressure, sudden changes in shower temperature, bad-tasting water, rusty water, and rusty spots on laundry, homes may have leaks either in the plumbing or under the slab.

Whenever you encounter any of these problems, it is likely that you have galvanized pipes in your house, and it is time to repipe your home.
PROCESS OF COPPER REPIPING
Give us a call today for your free estimate. Once we've decided on a solution and received your approval, we'll locate access to the old pipes and cover your possessions with drop cloths. Then we’ll remove the old pipes and start installing your new, made-in-the-USA type “L” hard copper piping. All pipe cuts are deburred for maximum water flow.

All pipes are strapped and secured in place. Their insulation prevents heat loss, and they are isolated to minimize vibration and sound. In addition to stainless steel supply lines, we also use 1/4-turn kwik ball-type water stops.
